Respite is an important avenue for the people that provide the support at home to have, at times, a much needed break.

Respite Care

A Brain Injury or other neurological condition does not just effect the individual, it can affect the whole family and at times become incredibly demanding to continue to support your loved one. It is important to understand that you may the time off from the demands of supporting someone with a brain injury. Utilising Respite care for just a few days can alleviate some of the stresses that you may encounter and provide you with a much needed break.

We can offer respite care for your family member or partner for short periods should you need a break or maybe need to be away from home for a while.

We meet with you and the individual requiring support and after a short assessment of the person’s needs, we offer a respite plan that may cover a number of days or weeks.

This would include a visit to the homes and to meet the team that will be supporting the person whilst staying with us.
